annabel normally would have never been in here but she had left her ipod, and she couldn't live without it. she checked under all the seats and then, fittingly, fell under one. on the plus side, her ipod was under this seat. on the minus side, she was stuck.

On his way to his next class he stopped in the lecture hall to check the homework from the other day since he had skipped class. He had his ipod on, listening to Coheed and Cambria. After he had checked the schedule he turned to go get a book from the side of the room, one he had subsequently left there the other day. Someting caught his eye and he began walking over to see what it was. Of course...there was Annabel stuck under a chair holding an ipod. He pulled the buds from his ears and gave her a look before laughing and holding out his hand to help her up.
[Jeez. You always seem to get caught in something. I was just going to class but I have an A and can blow it if you want to chill or something.]
He offered, shoving the book into his Volcom backpack and swinging it back and adjusting the straps so it sat comfortably on his back. He looked at her and cocked his head.
[Hows your head?]
He asked, wondering how she was recovering from the fall.

I smiled. And you always seem to be around when I fall. Maybe you're bad luck?
He helped me to my feet and looked up at him. My head's fine. I'm made of steel remember?

He rolled his eyes and laughed, punching her arm lightly in a playful matter. He walked out of the aisle of chairs and out the door.
[This is your last chance. Stay in school...]
He paused, looking at her, waiting for her to say something.
[Or ditch this joint and come drive around with me or something.]
He said. SHe was right. everytime he was with her she fell or something. Except the first day when It was him falling...

She laughed. I'm outta here,
When they hit the sun she shrugged his arm off and took off her shirt (she has a sports bra on relax ;D) and stripped off her jeans revealing running shorts.
Didn't want to change after P.E. Race you? she said, not caring that her hair was down.

He laughed when she began stripping, shaking his head and rolling his eyes a little.
[You don't change after Gym? What the heck. And sure I'll race because you don't know where my car is.]
he laughed and took off, running to the right down the parking lot, then turning and going to the right again, running up the length of he building and made another right, going to the last parked car by the exit. He saw she was ahead of him before and he laughed when he got there after her. It wasn't hard to find his car in the parking lot anyways. For as many rich kids there were, there was twice the ammount of middle class kids with shitty cars. His car stood out among all of them. He pulled his keys out of his pocket and opened his door, hitting the unlock button once he got in.
He said and turned his car on, adjusting his mirror and putting on his seatbelt. He revved his engine and smiled, liking the new loud sound his car emitted.

She laughed when she beat him. As she jumped in his car she flipped through the iPod on this dashboard.
Yes! Chiodos! And "The Word 'Best Friend' Becomes Redefined" blasted through his speakers.
She was free. And the sun was out.
She was in heaven.

He laughed and pulled out of the parking lot, going down the road at 70 mph, slowing down when he got to a stoplight. When it turned green he accelerated, hearing the muffler roar and he laughed, not knowing where to go. For some reason he NEVER knew where to go when they were together. He bit his lip, leaning back in the seat and looked at her.
[Where to?]

I laughed. I am sensing a theme here, I said smiling.
I thought. Hmm...not the lake, Jake and Haven are down there doing naughty things. Don't tell Bella.
Where do you want to go?

He looked at her, furrowing his brows. He was a little confused here. Why couldn't he tell Bella? Why would he be telling Bella? He didn't know who either of them were in the first place. It didn't make much sense to him...
[Uhh...well...I don't kow why I would tell Bella in the first place, but why can't I?]
he asked, getting a little nosy but he figured there was something more to what she was telling him that maybe Bella hadn't gotten around to telling him. Maybe he should wait for Bella to tell him?

Kaleb jumped in his seat a little, his eyes wide and his mouth gaped open. He shook his head.
[Nope. Nu-uh. Forget I even said anything about it. Your getting water.]
He said, laughing. She was beginning to scare him a little bit with this coffee thing. He drove the the coffee house and parked his car, pleasently surprised at how empty it was. ONly a couple old people and a local starving artist/poet was there. The poet was beating on bongo drums and Kaleb gave him a skeptical look and shook his head, walking up to the counter and ordering another iced latte. He brought one of his ex's to a coffee shop before and got an iced latte and she thought he was gay. He knew he wasn't projecting that image on Annabel because she knew, probably, everything him and Bella did, everything they said. He ordered her a water, jokingly, and a black coffee, paid and headed to wherever she was sitting.

I grumbled. As soon as he came over with coffee I snuck up behind him and stole the black one. It was easy to tell which one was mine.
When he turned to see what happened I was already sitting behind him, sipping my coffee innocently.

He glared at her, his mouth half pursed, half in a smile. He sat down, the iced coffee in his right hand and the water in another. He rolled his eyes.
[I'm going to start making you pay if you steal the coffee right from me when Im coming over to give it to you. Sheesh. I hope it stunts your growth or something.]
He said, sipping his iced latte out of a straw, finding joy in the bitter taste.
[Now, whats this whole thing with jake? and not telling bella?]
He asked, for clarification on this guys name and why he couldn't tell Bella.

I rolled my eyes. I was freaking five ten! If anything, I needed to be stunted. I put down my coffee. Mm, right, well, it's ancient history really but Jake and Bella used to be majorly in love with each other. It was actually through Bella that Jake met Haven in the first place. It was love at first sight and they've been together ever since, about two years maybe? And things have understandably been a little awkward between Bella and Jake, I mean, they weren't together when Haven met Jacob but it was still a little weird.
There's another thing to, though I can't quite get it out of Haven. I don't know if you've ever seen Haven but she's really beautiful, knocks the breath out of most people sometimes. Don't know where those genes went for me but anyway, apparently Haven reminds Bella of someone she used to care about. Haven wouldn't say who, but it has something to do with pale skin and gold eyes. She wasn't supposed to tell me any of this, she said it by accident. I don't know what it means, but I'm telling it to you in case you want to know. She sat back and sipped a gracious sip of coffee.

He furrowed his brow, biting on his straw, trying to make sense of this. He had never seen haven but doubted she was as beautiful as Bella. He sighed and felt a pango of jealousy for this Jacob guy, whoever he was. He bit his lip then and looked at her, a bit distraught.
[Do you think she still cares for this Jake guy? I mean...ugh I don't know. Now Im like...jealous and I never get jealous over girls. Bellas just really special.]
He explained, sighing and running his hand through his hair. His muscles would tense up every once in a while. He closed his eyes, his sculptured face looked at ease, even though he was feeling so pressured.

I sighed. Aw, Kaleb, I said, stretching a hand towards his. Our fingers touched but just barely. I doubt it. For one, they almost never see each other anymore. Plus, Bella's kept her distance ever since and I don't think she's even thought about it since she met you, I was telling the truth, or what I could gage.

He smirked and nodded, feeling a bit reassured. he ran his fingers through his hair yet, hoping she wasn't thinking about him. Was that what she meant by hurting feelings when he first asked her out? He sipped his latte and looked up at the ceiling fan, the poet and the old people before he looked at Annabel. His phone began to vibrate in his pocket and it was a text from his dad, which he just deleted without opening it. He was supposed to hang out with Bella after school. He hoped she didn't think he ditched her because he left school early. He would go to pick her up then.
[Erg. I hate my dad.]
he said bitterly, huffing a bit before he sipped his drink, settled back into his chair, and looked at her.
[which one is annabel in the pic?]

He laughed and rolled his eyes, shaking his head. She had absolutley no idea what his father was like. The sad part was, neither did he. He sighed when his phone buzzed again and just turned it off, not even bothering to check.
[Hes never had time for me. Not since I was 5 atleast. He wants to see me now...but what for? hes got a multi million dollar law firm, im not sure if he wants my money or my love. but he's not getting either.]
He exclaimed, like his dad was sitting right there next to him.
